We have developed a Digital Interface Card for UK Digital SKY Satellite Receivers that works with TSREADER from www.coolstf.com - available separately. It converts the internal transport stream from the Sky receiver to USB 2, which can then be processed on your PC. A SKY Plus Alternative on your PC!
The card takes its power from the computer’s USB port so there’s no need for an ugly power brick. It is important to note that the USB port that’ll be used on your PC must be USB 2; USB 1.1 is too slow for the satellite stream and is therefore not supported.
The interface allows you to watch those channels your subscription includes. It does not get around the smartcard’s subscriptions. In the case of a receiver with no subscription then you will be limited to the free to air channels like BBC and ITV.
The card has been designed to work on the following receivers ONLY, we are testing others but at the present time these are the receivers we know to work. Model number is often found either at the rear or underside of the unit and version number, O/S and EPG information is available by pressing Services on your remote then option 4 and option 5.

** We have been told that recent updates to some boxes have turned off the data stream on these receivers, this is not permanent and can be easily resolved. Force the unit to perform a firmware download as documented below, once complete leave the unit powered up and it will once again work with your Cielplus card.
